“Black White and Gold” is the new exhibition from TAB, a collaboration project between Tamsin Gifford and Ben Warner. This first collection brings together individual elements from both designers as well as their first collaborations together, combining 35mm Film Photography, 3D Design and Ceramics.
Ben’s 35mm photography focuses on land and seascapes using 90year old camera equipment to help capture the ageless beauty of Portugal. The results are beautiful grainy, painting like images that evoke feelings of times past.
To tie in with these images Tamsin has carefully selected some recent pieces from her collection based on old vase designs using rough surface finishes and bling bling gold details, adding a dash of class to these ancient feeling pots.
There will also be examples of 3D printed art, lighting and the start of a new collection from TAB, born out of merging Bens skill in 3D Design and Printing with Tamsins Ceramics and Glazing. With a particular interest in geometries, nature and lighting TAB expect these to become core themes in their work.
