THESE FIRST CASTS USE POLYURETHANE FOR THE MAIN BODY OF THE LIGHT AND FDM PRINTED PLA FOR THE SHADE, BASE AND ADAPTER.​​​​​​​
THE LIGHT FEATURES A CUSTOM ADAPTER TO SUPPORT KAPPLAKE LIGHTS FROM IKEA. THE FAST AND SIMPLE SNAP FIT ASSEMBLY SECURELY HOUSES THE LIGHT, SUPPLIES AN ON/OFF BUTTON AND ALLOWS ACCESS TO THE KAPPLAKE CHARGING PORT​​​​​​​.

the forms to make the 2 part silicone moulds were designed in rhino 8, printed in pla and finished with spray filler and fine grit sand paper.

- Mould cast using WAGNERSIL shore 22 silicone
- Castings made with clear epoxy, white polyurethane and cement
