I oversaw the development of an innovative new beauty product from it's conception to final prototype, ready for production planning.
Working remotely I set up collaborative online white boards that collated my research and outlined the design development stages with detailed breakdowns of specific mechanisms and form options. THE DESIGN PROCESS WENT through MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF REVIEWS, PROTOTYPES AND TESTING.
DUE TO THE mechanisms COMPLEXITY PRECISE TOLERaNCES WERE REQUIRED TO ENSURE COMPONENTS SNAPPED TOGETHER WHILE still ALLOWING THE MECHANISM TO MOVE WITH THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF FRICTION.
deliverables included multiple scale and functional FDM 3D printed prototypes, renders and production ready CAD files.
project Testimonies:
"Ben’s work on this leg of the project has been exceptional. The prototype he produced is exactly what we were envisioning and we are excited to extend his contract for the next milestone."
"We are thrilled with the completion of our project but sad that it means we will no longer be working with Ben. He has been such an asset, bringing a wealth of knowledge and contributing significantly to the success of this project. We truly appreciate his dedication and expertise."
